DriveCentric
DriveCentric is a company that uses rapidly evolving technology to deliver the latest products for car dealerships. The client purchased the former Vatterott College, a 29,000 square foot building in Sunset Hills, MO. It needed a complete interior demolition and renovation to accomplish their business goals which included the removal of an existing structural steel and concrete floor system to create a new atrium at the main entrance. We also removed existing masonry shear walls at the interior which required the installation of helical piers to anchor new structural steel seismic bracing for the structure. All the existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and data systems were completely removed, and new state-of-the-art systems are now incorporated in the building. There are numerous modern technology features integrated into this space including a large LED screen set in the AV/Presentation wall. Contemporary, semi-open workstation "pods", a café and break room with beautiful mill work and finishes along with a cave-like corridor give this employee friendly atmosphere some interesting design aesthetic.
